Yes. Safety and quality are the most important factors to URoots. All of our products have been dermatologist-approved and comply with the necessary regulatory guidelines. Topical Minoxidil can be purchased without a prescription for the scalp, however medications like oral Finasteride can only be purchased with a doctor's prescription in India, since it must be evaluated by a medical professional before being used. PRODUCT USAGE & INSTRUCTIONS
Minoxidil should be used on a clean, dry scalp, applied twice a day (morning and evening). Apply to the affected area using the included 1 ml dropper. Allow the product to air dry for at least 2–4 hours before using other products or going to bed. Do not wash your hair right after applying as this will wash away the active ingredients before they have had a chance to penetrate your scalp completely.
No. Using Minoxidil when your hair is wet will reduce the amount of time the product has to be absorbed into your scalp, which could result in it not treating you as effectively. Wet hair will dilute and wash away the product before it has a chance to be absorbed by the follicles.
As the formula increases in concentration the effectiveness also increases in strength:
- 2%- This concentration is usually suggested for women and mild thinning.
- 5%- Accepted general strength for most men experiencing moderate thinning.
- 10%- The highest concentration is used for patients with extensive thinning, however it is important to seek medical advice prior to starting as potential side effects exist from this high of a dose.
Hair grows gradually; however, the majority of users experience hair density improvements by four to six months approximately when both medications are taken regularly. You will probably notice some short-term loss of your hairs during the first weeks following initiation of medication, which is often considered normal.

Most areas of India support cash on delivery (COD) with the exception of certain pin codes. COD payment type allows you to pay for items purchased upon receiving your delivery at your location. We allow returns of unopened and unused merchandise, provided you complete the return process within seven days after receiving your order at your home and you have kept the item's original packaging intact. Returns will only be processed if the item has passed quality inspection and will be subject to our refund policy. Sure! You may on request either a change or a cancellation on an order before it has been shipped. To change or cancel an order please call or email customer support within 12 hours from the time of placing your order. Once an order has been shipped, cancellation or modification can't be made because of the shipping times set by the courier services.
SHIPPING & DELIVERY
URoots offers shipping to nearly every corner of India. Once your order is approved, it will usually be processed within the typical time frame of 24 - 48 hours. Potential deliveries may occur after a normal period of 3 - 7 days from your city, based on the availability of a courier service and the logistics of the delivery area. Tracking information will confirm when your order has been shipped to continue to track and confirm delivery.
Currently, URoots can only ship within India. We are in the process of developing options for international shipping to support both NRIs (Non Resident Indians) and customers outside of India, so please check our website frequently for news regarding international deliveries.

Missing a dose of medication will not significantly impair the progress of your treatment or lead to any irreparable harm to your health. You should always take your next scheduled dose and avoid taking an extra dose to make up for the missed one. Overusing medication will not help speed up the results, but could also increase the risk of side effects.
Store the medications in a cool, dry space, avoiding direct sunlight, humidity, or heat sources, as much as you can. Keeping medication containers sealed and out of children's reach is critical. Based on medication guidelines stating otherwise, it is unnecessary to refrigerate any medications.
Yes, you may use hair oils however, they should be applied only after the Minoxidil has dried completely on the scalp and absorbed into the scalp. If the hair oil is applied too soon after applying the Minoxidil it may dilute the effectiveness of the medication. To get the best results from both products you should allow a gap of at least a few hours.
POST-TRANSPLANT CARE FAQs
In most instances, topical Minoxidil is started after 2-3 weeks following your procedure, once your scalp has fully healed and there are no longer scabs present. Oral Finasteride can be initiated or continued at the same time as surgery, however it should only be based on your surgeon's judgement. Both medications allow for strengthening of existing hair, promoting the growth of transplanted grafts and minimising any future hair loss.
We recommend using a gentle SLS-free post-transplant shampoo, as these products will help cleanse the scalp of dirt, oil, and dead skin cells without causing irritation to the healing scalp and grafts. The gentle nature of these shampoos allows you to keep your scalp clean and maintain the proper moisture levels in your scalp and hair. Please do not use any harsh chemical products, fragrance products, or dandruff treatment products unless your doctor has prescribed them for you.
Yes, we provide custom-made recovery kits after your hair transplant. Our kits contain 4-5 items including medicinal shampoo, Minoxidil, Finasteride (if applicable), healing serum and nutritional support capsules to aid in the healing process. In addition, if you use the complete kit, it enables quicker healing, healthier hair growth and improved long-term transplant results.
